DShot is a new communication protocol between flight controller (FC) and ESC, substitute to Oneshot and Multishot. DShot stands for Digital Shot.
The advantage of DShot:
Compared to Oneshot and Multishot, we are informed that DShot is better because:
*No More ESC Calibration Required (no oscillator drift)
*More Accurate ESC Signal, and more robust against electrical noise
*Higher Resolution of 2048 Steps, compared to others of 1000 steps
*Faster Than Oneshot
*Safer, every signal has cyclic redundancy check
-Dimensions: 30mm x 30mm
-Mounting holes: 20mm squared to the center of holes
-Continuous current 18A and 25A burst per motor
-Supply voltage 2-4S Lipo
-Silabs EFM8BB21F16G 50mhz MCU
-Supports DSHOT, MULTISHOT, ONESHOT125
-Top quality MOSFET
-3oz high TG PCB board
Please Note: This is for advanced users.
This is not for the timid solderer; there are very small solder pads. Watch your spacer size, the clearance is minimal. 3mm spacers work best, but you still need to file down the thick edges.
The iPeaka Mini "4-in-1" iPeaka 25A D-shot ESC 20x20 HIGH VOLTAGE up to 4s- Damped Light Mode and Oneshot capable.
Users will need to install and wires. no extra cap needed
Please note: This is for more advanced users. Good soldering is a must. Watch to make sure the solder does not overflow to the MOSFETs.
